Photographing birthday parties is best done indoors. Make sure you have an ISO setting of at least 400-800. Don’t go any higher, as it can cause the images to look grainy. To keep images sharp, use shutter speeds of at least 1/125th second. Children move quickly and unpredictably, so be sure to do this.
