Virtual private servers (VPS) are virtual machines that are offered as a service through an Internet hosting provider. Although the virtual dedicated server (VDS) works in a virtualized environment, it requires some dedicated CPU cores. This is not the case for VPS. Virtual servers are much cheaper than physical servers.
